Welcome to our Open House

There are times when you have several ready units available. You know they look great and you want to show them off. If you had the traffic to show them to you would be able to close and help a future resident find their home there with you at XYZ Apartment Homes. So how do you get the traffic? Host an Open House! Look at the apartments that you have available and ready to go. Do you have one of each size? If so what kind of view do they have? Make a list of the qualities for each of these units. Once you have done this turn them into mini models. Purchase items from the 99 Cent Store or local discount store. You can buy things like bathroom towels and soaps, Kitchen towels and small appliances such as a toaster and a coffee pot. Red is a really nice color that stands out. When the mini models are complete advertise the Open House in the local newspaper. Put a starburst in your For Rent or Apt Guide ad reflecting an Open House at your community. Make sure to put the date and time you will be hosting the event. Offer refreshments and always have free gifts available to the first 50 visitors! Purchase a banner, bootleg signs and balloons so that upon entering your community the visitors are able to find your office easily. Decorate the office for the occasion with balloons and festive colors focusing on the Open House. You can even advertise an open house each Saturday while quantities last. Make it fun and watch the traffic roll in!
