Host a Networking Party

One great way to market to your community is to find companies that compliment yours. For example: Furniture rental companies, Moving companies, Apartment Locator services and Insurance companies that offer renters insurance. Host a networking party at your community and invite companies that you can partner with to promote each others businesses. Ask them to bring flyers and business cards so that you will have plenty of their materials to hand out in your move in packages and make up baskets of your own materials to hand to each guest at the party. Invite business owners or marketing directors from these companies that are close to your community so that the residents will have the convenience of location and will be more willing to use them. Host the party in your model so that they can see how great the floor plan is. Have a laptop or tablet with you so that you can give a virtual tour or get your guests familiar with your website. Remember to have plenty of promotional items to hand out as well as refreshments and drawings. This is a great way to get to know the community and create relationships!
