Here's an idea for a fun resident event. Since football season is right
around the corner why not think about some football themed events like a Chili
Cook Off? Invite each resident to start working on there Famous Chili recipes.
Let them know that there will be a community Chili cook off the first day of
football season. Ask everyone to wear there favorite football jerseys or
t-shirts. Purchase football themed decorations and hold the cook off in an area
that is big enough to allow for all of the taste testers that you will have.
Ask your area vendors or business owners to come out and be judges. If at all
possible have trophies or certificates made up. This could even become an
annual event!
